I tried this game with my advisory class. They enjoyed it a great deal. Most important, they got the point. They came to understand how difficult the lives of people from developing countries can be, and how poverty can be a barrier to education.
I wonder if it is necessary to identify this country as Haiti in particular. My thought is that people from this country may judge this game as stereotyping their country and culture. Would the game be less effective if a fictious name is applied?

Hi. The students in our program made the game. We look forward to learning what you all think.
